I’m not sure what today will bring. We’re scouring the United States for the part we need for the bus. So far, we’ve hit a lot of dead ends. Some call back tomorrows. And a few we’ll get back to you in a couple of hours.

It’d be easy to lose hope right about now.

But the question that imeadiately follows is what do I have hope in? Is in the fact that we MUST get to Kansas. Or in the fact that I know that God is good, whether we stay or go.

As much as it would ache me to not see so many close friends and work together for the same purposes in Kansas, I am okay with whatever the outcome.  As much as my heart is set towards the road, I know that the deep growth always happens at home.  And as much as I love the excitement in meeting new friends, and sharing Jesus with people on the streets, I know the relationships here are the ones that will last, and are the ones I have been given to put my time and effort into.

Whatever the outcome of this day, whether we end up going or staying. We have learned that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.

Thanks for your continued prayer.

“Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray, and not lose heart.”–Luke 18:1
